.............Catholic Welfare Association (CWA) is a social and charitable organisation associated with the Diocese of Quilon. Founded on 25th January 1981, with a farsighted vision of empowering Latin catholic community both socially and educationally, the association has been extending financial support by way of scholarships to economically backward students. CWA has always attempted to protest against the unjust infringements towards the community in a healthy mode.
.............It’s another avenue extending encouragement to the brilliant students through merit awards and honouring people with distinguished achievements.
.............The association owes its existence to the generous patrons, benefactors, members and well wishers. Over the years the activities of the organization was routed through its three branches namely Catholic Education Welfare Fund, Sargavedi and Women’s Wing.
